Deep ruby color bordering to purple. Med(+) aromas of ripe cherry, plum, ripe strawberry, savory, meat loaf, black pepper, nutmeg. Full body, high alcohol, med(+) acidity, high chewy tannins, med(+) finish. This wine is quite savory, meaty and spicy. Tannins are still quite firm and needs time to soften. Alcohol is a bit high but fruit intensity and acidity balances it just fine. A bit stinky with undesired reduction, too. If opening a bottle now, decant this for 30-60 min at least. 89+
For pairing, I think burgers or Hamburg steak would be good.
Day2: reduction and excessive savory note went away and ripe red fruits are on the front. The wine gained complexity with mint, blood and violet, making it more interesting and balanced. 91+
Day3: the fruit profile is getting darker with cassis and blueberry jam. Spice and savoriness are almost gone so the wine is actually a bit simpler though it drinks well.

Winey Weekend With the Woodwards in Woodinville!!; 2/29/2024-3/2/2024 (Where else?): PNP at Water Grill in Bellevue, WA, and didn't touch it for 30'. Open nose of earth, red fruit, tar, leather, spice and slight funk. On the palate, there's a firm texture, somewhat compact, medium body and length. I would try this again in 3-5 years.

Had enough of this now to know I really don’t care for it. Won’t be buying again. One dimensional and uninteresting.
