This was worth waiting for. Thick and still fresh with black and blue fruit plus eucalyptus and tea leaves . Plenty of sediment and great length. Drank over two sessions ( through coravin) second time it paired really well with iberico pork chops

First time I taste something form this producer. Had a glass of this lovely wine and was suddenly reminded of how real Syrah-based wines should present itself. No wonder Auguste Clape is/was praised worldwide for his ability to combined muscle power with elegance. Stuffing the nose into this glass was really "SOMETHING". Lovely notes of dark black currant, pepper and blood. The taste had an acidity that is really hard to describe yet spot on! Mature but still powerful tannins. Wow!!!

Bordal chez Maison Pic (Valence): Robe rubis brillant. Nez sur les épices douces. Pas mal de finesse et une belle structure. Bonne longueur.
