  Always a pleasure to come back and taste Leroy, even this entry level Bourgogne is beautifully elegant and refined. Medium garnet coloured, tawny hue. Intense aroma of earth, cherries, smoke, smoky strawberries, medicine cabinet. Medium- body, rich and well preserved fruitiness with earthy cherry and strawberry flavours, smoky edges, elegant and medium densed structure, well integrated high acidity and fine medium tannins.

  醒酒半小时，淡红茶色，闻香有淡淡肉鲜，丁香肉桂一类的香料味，樱桃红果，淡淡泥土气息，果味很鲜活，入口酸度高，单宁紧涩，有点糊嘴，细砂纸颗粒，酒液很咸，湿石头矿物感，盐渍话梅的口感，伴随着樱桃果香，后段香料辛辣，余味满口新鲜红果，淡淡木质香气，口中回甘。醒酒两三个小时以后完全打开，闻香有果梗带来的植物和花香，樱桃和山楂一类的红果，一些白石灰气息，入口甜美感有所上升，单宁依然紧涩，稍微柔和了一点，口中梗味明显，伴随着新鲜红果，樱桃，蔓越莓，中后段香气绵绵不绝地输出，华丽如香水般绽放，悠长的果味混合着香料感一直不断延伸，融合在木质香气中，带着香草味，在口中久久不散，精致而又鲜活，没有丝毫老态，让人很难想象这是一支2003年的酒。五六个小时以后能感觉到状态有点下坡，老酒的陈年氧化特征略有体现。一款风格经典，单宁强劲的酒，处在适饮巅峰期，口感很纯净，保存状态一流，还可以继续陈年。

  Quite concentrated and powerful for an entry level Bourgogne appellation, and especially considering its age and vintage! Redcurrant, cherry pit, black tea, earthy with eucalyptus notes. Surprising tight knit tannin, med+ concentration. Very nice!
