Light yellow. Beautiful and elegant citrus bouquet with flint stone mineral impressions. On the palate slightly tropical yellow fruits, e.g. pineapple and good grapefruit bitterness. Full bodied, ripe fruits, good acidity, beautiful oak, good bitterness and length.

Delicious aromas of citrus, sea shore, smoke and some vanilla. Guess the vanilla (oak) will integrate better with time. Rich and a bit sweet in the mouth, which I guess is the vineyard signature. A bottle tasted two years ago was not that rich, so things has happened here.

lovely wine of relative power, more voluptuous in fruit than the '19 Montmains, but perhaps also with more atypicity for Chablis. However hard to dislike this.

2019 Droin 1er Crus side-by-side: Fourchaume, Montmains, Montée de Tonnerre.
The Fourchaume was the most powerful of the three Droins, with a punch of lemon and lime zest, lemon juice, lemon curd, smoke, a touch of guava, and salt rock. A good deal of drive here, with a powerful finish that rockets to the back of the throat (in a good way). Sealed with DIAM 10. Hold these for a few years to better integrate, but man, the intensity is something to admire. Great potential. 94+ points.

Aromas of citrus, minerals and some smoke. Light, elegant and delicious. Some oak here, but less than earlier?
