The 2017 wildfire vintage overall doesn’t get the respect that 2016 and 2018 do, but in the case of the regular Freemark Napa cab I’m liking it better (for now). The oak still has a way to go but there is some real red fruit and a tarlike nose lurking below, whereas of the two 2016s I’ve sampled one had overpowering oak and one was an outright dud.

Deep ruby color. Nose of sweet black fruit and a touch of spice. Full bodied on the palate with good presence and length.

deep red core to the edge, aromas of blackberry and cassis, full balanced taste with some coffee notes, wood, integrated

桑葚、黑醋栗、黑莓、干番茄,甜美浓香的果味被很多烟熏气息环绕。入口还非常年轻、紧实,单宁充满抓力,需要三个小时的醒酒来逐渐平和。
