A bit of a dank nose, not corked, but the muddled red undertones are muted. Palate is balanced and is holding on to a nice red fruit character, but a bit of a wallflower, some Asian spice which is interesting, I would definitely drink up

Wow, this was rocking. No formal notes, but this was long, deep, nuanced, laden with tertiaries yet still fresh, and delicious with Lynn's rendition of James Campbell Caruso's Cana de Cordero (Slow Braised Lamb Shanks with Lemon, Cumin and Cinnamon).

I believe this aged Cab is a bargain at $25. Very smooth texture. Black fruit with a touch of olive and nice, long finish. A few nights ago I head a 1998 Cap de Faugeres and the Freemark Abbey was much more enjoyable and has more time and fruit left.

Wonderful texture. Nose of black fruits. Tastes of black fruits and olives with some earth. Plenty of fruit left.
