Red fruit and a little alcohol on the nose which went went away with time in the glass. Cherry and plum on the palate with medium plus tannins and short/medium finish. Not super complex but easy drinking and good value.

This has matured well in the year since we started on this vintage. It has ripe, spicy fruit, with good depth and length. An excellent example.

Nose: black cherry, plum, earthy, wood
Palate: black cherry, cherry pit, plum, mushrooms, wood spice, pluot, tobacco leaf
Finish: pepper, light baking spice, woody, structured, cherry pit, earthy mushrooms

Now drinking very well, with ripe, spicy fruit and good length. It is in the early stages of maturity and should develop well over the next 2 to 3 years.
