I like this more than I was expecting to. Fruit is very ripe, almost new world... but the 19' vintage comes through nicely with racy acid that pulls it together nicely. Certainly on the richer side, but not overly so. Very tasty!

Out of 375ml, and a step up from the last time I tried it. You have to enjoy ripe whites, which i often don’t because in Napa that ripeness is usually accompanied by a full stick of butter, and from certain Burgundy producers it means very round wines. But here, as with many 2019s there’s fresh acidity and some mineral character to balance the intense pear and apple flavors. It’s a unique vintage trait that I really like in periodic doses

Great fruit intensity and purity. I taste residual malic acidity in this wine similar to what I have seen in 2019 Latour Giraud and Philippe Chavy wines. They all have the same oak signature, so maybe that's where this is coming from. I don't like this, but not everyone will notice it to the extent that I do. Overall, this is a fine wine. Try a bottle and see for yourself if the acid structure appeals to you before you buy more. This will be interesting to taste in 6-8 years to see how the malic/oak character resolves.

Tightly wound with high acidity at present. Needs a few more years of cellaring.

Out of 375ml, carries the 19 signature of ripe pear with solid supporting acidity. Nice but not the vibrancy and power I was hoping for
