Really nice barolo with quality. Cherry, plum, wood at first, felt a little mundane. But developed with time and shows various character, like a lot of spice, herbs and smoke. Drank for 8 hours and never wears off its beautiful nose. Tannin is so tight and needs some time to get soft I think. But the acidity and fruitiness come after beautiful nose are already impeccable. Overall, the best normale barolo I’ve tried for this vintage so far.

Late night at home. Drank in Conterno Sensory. Appearance is clrar, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of floral rose petals, fragrant young tar earth, classic sour red cherries, violets and soap. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (14.5%), fine majestic high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of classic sour red cherries, red plum, red licorice, lick of young tarry earth. Long finish. Very good quality. I love it. The two keywords that keep coming to my mind as I drink it are "classic" and "majestic". Will age, but very open for business already. Blend of Bricco Chiesa (La Morra), Capalot (La Morra), and Bricco del Fiasco (Castiglione Falletto).
Great, classic young Barolo. Tanins grippy but not harsh in the slightest. Nose, though not as fulsome as a great Barolo with age, of rose petals, red fruits with that tarry undertone that to me defines Barolo. That took a half hour to come through, though; glad I decanted it at this age. Love it and priced right. Drink now, or whenever over the next 20 years.

Prototypical Barolo. Soft supple well rounded tannins. More cherry, herbs and flowers than usually. Solid acidicity. Very well rounded, though perhapsa bit forgettable also. Pricey over here.
