Ruby color. Nose of dark fruits, earth, and some barnyard. Flavors of plum, currant and a little mocha. Medium bodied wine with a good length finish. This wine is a nice, fruity, crowd pleasing Merlot.

Opened this birthday gift last night for the Monday Night Football opener. Long gone are the days of a six pack of beer to usher in the season. This was cetainly not as jammy as I expected, even a bit of tartness and edge up front. Upon breathing a bit it was smoother...but I guess I am a spoiled Pinot Noir brat. I am not going to drink any fuckin' Merlot! Calm down Miles.

Ferrari-Carano never fails to deliver. Decanted for two hours prior to drinking gave us a delicious bottle.
