  Color is light ruby - clear at the edges. Herbal and menthol on the nose as well as a cedar and a wet forest note. Tarry, earthy, anise, and cherry on the palate which feels light and fresh. Tannins are quite dusty and the dryness lingers through the long finish. Plenty of acidity. I enjoy most young wines as long as they are expressive and this one is, but the tannins at this stage could be too stiff for some.
