5 hour decant - really helped open this up...lean cherry, raspberry, bay leaf, and tobacco leaf - many years to go.

Double decanted for five hours. It definitely needed as it opened up beautifully. Nose of cherries, forest floor. Fantastic balance between zippy acidity and grippy tannins - this feels still so young! - and then a very layered palate of cherries, lavender, pine, forest floor, coffee beans. The ending is long and lingering, with balancing notes of aromatic wood and incense. This is an amazing Barolo that is totally worth the price.

Decanted 5 hours. Dark ruby, slow long legs, on 👃 cherries, woodsy forest, cinnamon, prunes, graphite. Very dry, grippy frontal tannins, highly acidic, smooth burn on throat with ripe cherries finish.
