  Wow is this freshly mowed lawn ........ grassy nose and flavors. I feel that I am on a meadow in New Zealand. So interesting and unique a wine. Many will hate and then there is me who finds beauty in these lesser priced consumer wines. Lovely for the price.

  Pale lemon in colour with aromas of lemon grass, green herbs & slate.
  On the palate, light to medium bodied citrus, lemon/lime, jalapeño, green herbs, lemon grass, green bell pepper, somewhat floral, high acidity with a long finish to a spicy, saline, chalky minerality. Tastes like a pretty typical Marlborough Sauv but perhaps a little spicier. Not getting the tropical fruit notes that other tasters have mentioned.

  Even this is a mass produced wine, we liked it. Of course it has very typical New Zealand Sauvignon notes, but sometimes this is what you want. Very good summer wine.

  Clean crisp, grapefruit, green apple grassy. No burn on the way down, minerality .
