Light golden colour. Elegant and focussed nose. Peach, very light nettle note. The palate also has a rich peach flavour but kissed with a touch of herbaceousness. There's some oxidation evident on the finish but this shows that Sauv Blanc can age.
Nose: mild citrus, very light nose Mouth: gooseberry, some acidity, no real finish Kind of wrong. Found it in a bin end for next to nothing so thought I'd have a go and see what had happened to it. Certainly not corked but just dull.

(Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc) Chartreuse-tinged bright yellow; big ripe lime and vanilla oak nose; broad lime, mineral and earthy palate, with what seemed like medium toasty oak flavors, more like a Loire Chenin Blanc than most grassy New World Sauv Blancs; short-medium finish.
