Can you have a rustic yet complex pinot? I think this would be that. Really good. Appearance had a cloudy element. Nice berries in the nose with earthy elements. Consistent body throughout the palate. Felt the fruit and acid interplay came out more on day 2. Highly drinkable, great with food. Good complexity, not very precise. Interesting! (Opened bottle in morning and left cork in. 1 hr decant in evening. Cab glasses)

Beautiful Oz pinot with an aromatically complex nose to go with a sweet fruit palate.
On the nose I get lots of young tobacco, red fruits, whole cluster spice that lends and interesting note that reminds me of a spicy margarita (fresh chopped green jalapeño).
Palate has low tannin bit higher acidity. Light, elegant mouthfeel and some sweet fruit on the mid-palate.
Enjoyable with lots of upside. 93-94.

One of the better bottles I’ve had in recent memory. Extremely aromatic nose with notes of sour cherry, strawberry, earth, and barnyard funk. Almost Burgundian. First sip was so balanced I didn’t even register the acidity. On further tastes, had a pleasant and long acidic finish. Almost no tannins. Ripe cherry and strawberry on the palette, but more tertiary flavours than fruit. Would’ve been surprised that this was new world if I drank blind. A bottle to remember, and only wish I had more.

Pale ruby in the glass with a rather expressive nose. I ultimately found this to drink a bit thin, particularly in the mid-palate. I did the bottle a disservice opening it this early.

Aromatic nose, but very high acidity and right now maybe a dumb phase where it’s quite harsh on the palate. Cellar more
