Obviously too young, but with a fun kick of red raspberry and candied black and red cherry flavors to compliment some interesting orange peel and spice notes. Primary indeed, but already decent depth development to warrant a second pass. Hold these for another decade and be rewarded.

Deep red Wonderful red cherry and raspberry fruit, a touch of darker fruits. Wonderful balance that is Roumier. Medium weight, a little reserved, currently. Great booze.

Very purple and almost inaccessible, decanting didn't help much. Noticed the bubble gum aromatics which I didn't find in older vintages. Liked the texture but hard to evaluate otherwise for me

Decanted. Purple fruit, lollypop, sweet juice, reductive, very much so in the new Roumier style. Quite good depth for this wine. Day two becomes overripe, herbal and stewed. 92-93

Very interesting nose, glossy red fruits and berries, luxorious oak, white pepper, ever evolving and always sous bois looming underneath.
Very drinkable, tannins are covered in sweet raspberry with a superb mineralité, and a very very long finish. The mouthfeel is so airy as well as concentrated, for me the hallmark of Pinot greatness.
What a fabulous showing, irresistible right now, though should age very well.
94/95

An early take on some greats (Tøyen, Oslo): Double decanted 4 hours prior to serving
