Red cherries and rhubarb, red flowers, mushrooms, earth, herbs, light oak influence, vanilla, delicate tannin, medium body, long finish. Just delicious and the acid is really nice. Made in a riper style than what I expected, but not overly so.

We felt like this was a bit flabby and over-extracted. More California than Oregon. Relatively low acidity. Disappointing. Maybe it’s the vintage. We were enjoying these a few years ago.

Purchased 6 bottles in April 2023. They’ve been in my cellar since. Color- ruby. Clear Nose- shy. Berries. Cherry. Oak Palate- great tannin/ acid balance. Cherry. Raspberry. Cedar. Paired with coq au vin and mushrooms.
Great food wine. Will probably improve a bit over the next couple of years.

Some vanilla notes. Nice but generally unremarkable, especially for the price.

Let it open up for 30-60 minutes. Fresh cherries. Better paired with food (like most wines)
