  Ripe strawberries, anise, cumin dust, dirt and rose petals on the nose. The palate adds fresh mint leaves, lemon peel, orange peel cooked tomatoes and cooked meat (imagine a bolognese sauce!). Finishes with the non-fruit flavors, but overall this is very well balanaced between them and the primary notes.
  
  Medium body with zippy medium + acid and medium tannin. Drinking very well right now. It could age; but certainly doesn't have to. This is an excellent Langhe Nebbiolo, although with a high price tag for that DOC. Include it in a lineup of Barolos and you will find it worthy.

  Medium-light red ruby in color. Full, fragrant & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries & berries with overtones of floral notes of roses, dried herbs & earthy/dusty notes, spices, licorice, a hint of minerals. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, cranberries & pomegranate with herbs, spices & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting and extended airing but may benefit & develop further with additional aging.
