Tasted blind - called Central Otago Pinot. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, black cherry, sweet oak, rose petal, and baking spice. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium tannin, medium+ intensity, medium body, 13.4% abv with flavors of black cherry, sweet oak, and baking spice with a medium+ finish. Needs time for the oak to integrate, better in 2 years and 3+ beyond.
