  Young and will benefit from more years in the bottle.
  
  Concentrated blackberry, black pepper, dark chocolate, espresso, and minerality on the finish. Strong, thick tannins.
  
  Another delicious bottle from Ridge.

  Deep, dark, purple garnet in color; nearly opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with lovely overtones of spice notes of pepper, earthy/dusty, floral notes of violets, cocoa, anise, tobacco, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, dense, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, bittersweet cocoa, herbs, minerals, spices & oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing but will develop further with additional aging.
