  Deep, dark purple, almost opaque in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & cranberries with overtones of floral notes of violets & earthy/dusty notes, spices, minerals, herbs & slight hint of banana in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe red fruit flavors of cherries, pomegranates & cranberries with some citrus notes, spices, earthy, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has may develop further with additional aging. Very good QPR. A delightful Beaujolais from a consistent quality producer.
