This is a big wine that needs a little time to open up. I would suggest a slight decant. After the wine opens up there is a nice mixture of fruit and a hint of wood. Well integrated smooth finish.

(DeLille Cellars Chaleur Estate Yakima Valley) This wine is Red Mountain in a glass. A complex, layered wine with violets and red fruit above and earth and cassis below. Pretty cherry aromas sneak up and around as do floral and herbal notes. Gargantuan on the taste with a tight fruit core and well integrated tannins. Give 2-5 years. 65% Cabernet (Ciel du Cheval); 25% Merlot (Klipsun, Boushey); 8% Cab Franc (Ciel du Cheval); 2% Petit Verdot (Ciel du Cheval).

Good ripe black fruit, some spice (likely from the oak), but also an attractive saline line through the palate and finish that set it apart for me.
