Dark ruby. Dark fruit followed by red fruit aroma. Deep flavours with brighter finish. Tannins are present but well integrated. Has very good balance with finishing acidity. Closed down after 2 hours; don't recommend extended decanter airing. Very attractive well-aged cabernet-based blend. Shows what Washington fruit can achieve. Apparently was the 2nd vintage of this wine... well done!

Last bottle. Surprisingly drinkable. Nose has lots of secondary leather, raisin and tobacco notes. Still pleasant and attractive. palate was light, started out a little watery even but filled out quickly with secondary flavors and some fruit still evident. Obviously on the decline but still pleasant to drink and contemplate.

Nose of sweet tobacco, raisins, freshly turned wet earthy notes.
Palate is complex, raisin notes, earthy notes, pleasantly mature. Decent finish.
Lovely aged wine on the slow road to decline. Drink up.

This bottle was dead, well past maturity with little to offer. No fruit, few secondary notes, a slight tanic finish.
