During the Grands Jour de Bourgogne walkabout tasting. The wines on display by Nicolas Groffier showed very well. Both the Amoureuses (95pt) and the Bonnes Mares (97pt) were brimming with red fruit and whole cluster notes, subtle spice and underbrush. Light and precise palate. Alas, the price reflects this today and prices are in the same league as Mugneret-Gibourg, Fourrier, Cathiard and Co.

Quatuor en Harmonie (Morey-St-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-St-Georges) - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Nuits St.-Georges): Walkaround tasting with the producers. Bright red fruit, also showing an intriguing ripe/ tart character with alluring mineral textures. Similar to the Hauts Doix, but with everything more harmonious already now. Exciting 94-96 point potential here.
