  • Floral, botanical aromas, kind of a down by the river in early summer. Bright cherry flavor with some berry - still pretty big with some life left. Dry finish that had a dirty stringent mineral film on the tongue and mouth. This could have been because i didn’t let it stand up for two days and the sediment may have still been floating around in commotion. A traditional corkscrew began to be used but was soft and began to give way so I used a two prong cork puller and it came out fine.

  • Overall was looking forward to enjoying this 19 year old Washington wine that was recommended for a tasting night we were having as a family however the disappointment started from uncorking the wine and having the cork disintegrate into pieces. I let this wine breath for at least 4 to 5 hours before consuming. When poured this wine had a deep ruby color and showed very quick legs. The wine did have heavy sediment which would be expected for a 19 year old wine. To the nose this wine was a complex beast of a wine that gave hints of meatiness, animal & cigar. The body was full with a coarse texture & medium to long finish. Overall was disappointed with this wine.

  • A nice surprise... just a bit of brick red at the edge, with an assertive nose of red and black fruit, dusty earth, olive, and a hint of dried orange peel. Lovely juicy flavors of fruit and earthy spices in the mouth, with good midpalate weight, a nice underpinning of tannin and a long finish that ought to carry it another 6-8 years.

  • Dark ruby/garnet, red fruits and leather on the nose. Smooth tannins, dark or wild cherries, long, long finish.
