  Healthy, med. deep, bright garnet, showing just a little age. Intense, soft on the nose with sweet, dark cherries, light floral and truffle notes, then tobacco. Unfortunately the nose just shut down after couple hours. Fresh palate, med+ body, quite complex with nice acidity and still holding quite a structure. Red berries on the palate and in the aftertaste, very long. Notes of almonds and tar. Very nice, elegant in a rather traditional way. I liked it a lot, others didn't (but I didn't care).
