  • PNP. Auction purchase, top of wax was missing from the bottle, but no signs of seepage. Medium yellow color. The nose is fresh and lively, dominated by powdered lemon stone essence, chalky minerals and honey spice. Deep palate, medium acid and very citrusy with a drying chalky finish. Lacks a little depth of fruit, but tons of energy and precision delivering exactly what I want in a Chablis. Outstanding.

  • Unfortunately it was evolved a little more than what was expected. Anyway was enjoyable but compared to the 2014 and 2017 the battle was unfair

  • quite complex, strong showing for the price paid but now a days the price in the secondary markets does not match with what's in the bottle.

  • Still in excellent condition. Light gold colour. lovely nose offering up citrus, pears, white flowers. Intense palate, tight with excellent minerality. Long finish.

  • Great bottle. Looked like it was going to be great as the colour was very bright and vibrant light gold. A Great start. The wine was rich but at the same time light on it’s feet as only the best wines are. Started off nutty but then transformed into beeswax and minerality. I would say it was the perfect drinking window not showing any sign of tiredness. I loved the balance and beguiling scent of this wine which changed regularly as it sat in the glass bordering on Creme brûlée to taste but without the heaviness associated with such a dish. I remember the 08’s being quite tight and steely when they were young especially the Grand cru’s. The benefit of ageing clearly on display here. Wonderful.
