This was impressive. I have tasted this twice before over the years, and it has improved each time. Outstanding nose on display, cherry and asian spices, and the medium bodied palate was wonderfully balanced, with generous fruit and acidity. Darker in colour than I would have thought for a 2007. Yet another 'shitty' 2007 OR pinot! A very nice surprise that was really enjoyed by all. No rush if you have some, but very good now, especially with a little air (A-).

Medium red garnet, dry mineral, light fruit, cherries and blackberries. Light acid with some bitter tannins. More in the restrained AFWE camp than the previous '06. A little licorice comes through, very restrained and simple fruit balanced with light acid and tannins, smooth drinking now.

Nice aromatics, but comes up just a bit short on the palate, slightly drying. A tough vintage for sure, i think this was better in it's youth.

Didn't quite come up to my expectations based on tasting it at the winery two years ago. May be the bottle.
