  A lot citric aromas, some roasted notes, salty, reductive and a bit tight, tangerine, a bit smokieness and and the end creamy. 93

  This magnum of 1990 Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Collection was disgorged in 2004. Perhaps the magnum helped a lot with retaining its youth, but it’s so young that it’s maturity is similar to the 1998 Grand Vintage Collection next to it. Young and ripe with rich orchard fruits, similar profile to the sun-kissed 2003. (85/100)

  The coffee notes on this are unusually expressive. A really fun Champagne to bring to a party and taste against other vintages. Drinking very well for a straight Moet - reminiscent of some of it's more expensive brethen.
