Mouth both supple and sharp, with juice of undeniable quality, very nice touch on the palate, the wine then spreads out with a lot of amplitude in the mouth while keeping this tension. A very beautiful village in top form where the fat of Meursault is combined with saline and apple notes. Nice finish on wet stone, with a decent length.

Really nice and dangerously easy to drink. Upon opening, was a touch soft with a very very light hint of baked apple. Then, really blossomed, very liberal with great acidity and a lot of candied lemon. Great wine.

(Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Meix Chavaux) Light lemon yellow color; focused, minerally, tart lemon nose; tasty, tight, laser focused, medium bodied, tart lemon, tart citrus, mineral palate with structure, needs 3-plus years; long finish

During a blind tasting dinner. This showed quite nutty and oxidative for a 2008. Still drinkable, but it looks like a bottle affected by premox. NR

Nose on baked apple, some saline notes and flint

Meursault (Northside) 1er Cru vs Village, Mostly Blind (The Moll House - Chicago IL): Single blind in flight. Wow, best this wine has ever showed. Lemon, green apple, red apple, with a bright and minerally finish. Good weight for Village level wine, but a shockingly long finish that isn't powerful but is bright and ever-so-elegant.

One of my best whites of 2018, so precise with lots of cut, good acidiity, chalk and lemon. Insanely good at this level.
