Though vinfanticide to drink now, not quite sure this wine has what it takes to improve too much with age. Light to medium bodied, the tannic, tart red fruit on the nose and tongue are definitely present as expected with a young Burgundy, but much of the complexity and terroir seem to be missing. Next day seemed to confirm this as the tart fruit was still there but alas any improvement in complexity and balance was not. Perhaps this is just too modern of a Burgundy for me and my expectations were not met even at a $28 price point.

Louis Jadot Tasting (Portland, Oregon: Liner & Elsen): Tasted as a barrel sample. Leather, ripe cherries, and rocks come through on the nose. Bright and full cherries show up on the palate, along with full tannins. The tannins become dusty later, and the wine dries out fully, making the whole experience elegant and masculine. 90-

This was my last and best bottle. Tannins resolved, in balance, fruit dominant. Light bodied and very approachable now. No need to wait any longer.
