  2 bottles. One completely gone, one with marginal remnants of its original character. Orange translucent rim, some strawberry and olive on nose, tart on palate, lean, with some tannin, and minimal fruit. Not enjoyable.

  Härlig doft med rosor som kommer alltmer. Nedtonad syra men bra tryck i tanninerna för att vara en åldrad bourgogne. Gott!

  Korrekt? Ja.
  Doftintensitet: Medel.
  Doft: Frukt - röda bär - hallon (solvarma!) körsbär. Blommor - döda rosor. Fat - choklad med körsbärslikör. Ålder - skogsgolv varm sensommardag.
  Utveckling: Piggt för sin ändå tydliga ålder.

  Torrt/sött: Torrt.
  Syra: Medel.
  Tanniner: Finkorniga men överraskande tydliga.
  Alkohol: Viss halka i munnen (13 procent).
  Fyllighet: Medel –.
  Smakstyrka: Medel.
  Smak: Frukt - röda bär - hallon, körsbär. Fat - liten träighet. Ålder - knappt någon sous bois eller liknande mer en avpolerad syra.
  Textur/balans/bubblighet: Nej.
  Eftersmak: Hyggligt lång med liten beska.
  
  SLUTSATSER
  Kvalitet: Mycket bra.
  Drickabilitet: Åldrat men piggt. Kan kanske lagras längre men riskerar att tappa stunsen.
  Geografi: Bourgogne.

  Served blind I guessed correctly Gevrey but thought possibly 2002 village. Very typical Gevray on the nose for me, a fully mature Burgundy which is loosing fruit in my view making it a drinker now. For me the weakest wine in a nice line up that night but certainly enjoyable.
