  Delightful cab, not too overwhelming, fruity but dry, nice long finish of raspberries, cherries, blackberries, tobacco. Although rated by some as passed it's time, this wine has held up very well.

  Opened and poured without decanting. Initially the wine offered little nose with thin fruit, timid acids, and no tannins. After an hour it gained a little body and gained some elegance, but not at all what I hoped. I'm afraid this likely peaked a few years back, but it was likely never going to deliver the goodies I desire. A nice beverage with dinner, but nothing to get excited about.

  This is peaking IMO. Initially it came across as a bit tired, over the hill, but pleasent. But after 1/2 an hour it opened to show light smoke, annis, black currant and various berry flavors. All throughout the wine was subtle and elegant. A good wine alone with a nice cheese. Drink up and enjoy.
