Nose: Honey kissed melon, lemon rind, herbs and kiwi. Palate: viscous and a bit oxidative, but nice lemon, jasmine and honeydew notes with a touch of saline. Finish: Still showing freshness in the citrus fruit and geen apple skin. Creamy and long.
This is a beautiful aged sauvignon blanc. If you have some it is a real treat now, but may continue to evolve nicely.

Pale gold in color. 14% ABV. Grapefruit, kiwi and fresh cut grass on the nose. Creamy in texture and a touch of acidity. Lemon, lime and more grapefruit on the palate. This bottle was lost in the cellar and aged longer than originally intended. That being said there is a lot to like here on a hot summer night. Clearly ready to drink.

Like the Pape Clement Blanc, this also starts out with a strange funky/reductive aromatic profile initially, but it clears with air to show fresh, pale fruit seasoned with saline and green herbal notes. With time it gets deeper and a little creamier, very enjoyable.

ugh. this last bottle slipped thru the cracks as it has been 17 months since last drinking, and, alas, i agree with the two previous posters, past prime; although at this level of quality, still better than most of it's competitors. has become grapefruit dominant. my perennial favorite domestic SB despite it's egregious price point. drink up.

(Araujo Estate Sauvignon Blanc) Straw-colored, with golden highlights. Aromas of wet stone, orange peel, peach, pear, and ripe apple, accompanied by hints of honey and hay. Full-textured, with mouthwatering acidity and a Viognier-like note of litchi nuts on the moderate finish. Terroir: Eisele Vineyard
