I've had this wine before recently, and enjoyed it more then than now. This bottle may have been soured by slight oxidation. Very dark gold in color. Some white fruit on the nose. Leaner, with more minerality than I recall from last tasting. Lots of citrus and peach. Finish was a bit too tart and off-putting. Didn't love this bottle this time around, but was nonetheless still passable. Time to finish off these 09 village-level wines.

Popped & poured last nite for Zoom white burg tasting. Feint nose of white stone fruit. On the round, somewhat fleshy side in the mouth, but with crisp acidity. Some citrus as well as white peach here. Overriding minerality and acidity, particularly on the back end. Classical burgundian style chard. Lovely

Groundhog Day (Taberna Palo Cortado - Madrid): Thin on the nose, little aromas of thyme or lactic notes. Absence on the palate where there's nothing great, nothing offensive either. Too much expectations maybe. Possibly in another bottle ...
Delgado en nariz, pequeños aromas a tomillo o a notas lácticas. Ausencia total en el paladar donde no hay nada grandioso, nada ofensivo tampoco. Demasiadas expectativas tal vez. Posiblemente en otra botella ...

A finely made Puligny with breeding but lacking the corps to make it a contender at this price ( ($250 in Paris). Crisp acids, nice hints of burnt camel, definite pineapple and quince flavors but also a slightly watery and occasionally over acidic experience. Needs some Time to settle down but will not be great.

Similar notes. I think 2009 and Puligny match up well together. Not much reason to wait on this any more than a couple years, as far as I can tell.
