Similar to previous note. PM pear and candied citrus. An easy wine to like but reviewed harshly here. Slight bitterness to the finish on this bottle but breathed off with some air. Splash decant, serve a little cool and yes, 2022 was about right. PS very easy to like the Pernot style as they’re not flashy but show honest PM typicity.

Youthful pale lemon colour. Nose is subdued, initially toasty oak with some spice and then pear and nectarines. More evolved on the palate, and I see the candied pear/flint notes mentioned in other posts. The wine finishes with a soft cushion of sweet ripe fruit and cinnamon. A 2011 WB for which time has placed some flesh on its scrawny bones. Drinking beautifully now. I would not keep too long (2022?)

Candied pear, nutmeg, oak, flinty, and with significant barrel. Medium bodied. Nice after a P-N-P, no decant. Roast chickend night. Pretty wine. Brilliant lemon color too, shockingly young for the vintage.

This bottle quite advanced. No bruised apple but the citrus is subdued and the colour more brass than lemon. Drink up.

4/10/2020 - JimmyBubbles Does not like this wine:
No fue la mejor botella. Algo deslavazado y cierta oxidación. Acidez en boca y un exceso de madera.
Otra vez será.
