Drank at Del Frisco's Boston. Enjoyed.

Biodynamically grown estate Zwiegelt, wild fermented in neutral oak and small tanks. Quite full-bodied for the varietal, dark fruit, damp earth, underbrush. Plush texture with rich fruit and savoury nuances. Beautifully balanced with natural acidity a "more-ish" umami charcater. Really impressive for the price. (Ryan Woodhouse - K&L Austrian Wine Buyer)- exactly my thoughts

As a follow-up to my tasting note from a few years ago, this is now drinking nicely. I also think it will be very long lived, so for those inclined to drink well aged cabs this is a good candidate for 10-20 years of evolution. Very fruit forward, the dusty tannins have smoothed nicely, retaining its minerality. 13.5% ABV

Oak notes on the nose. Really nice mouth feel in an old school styled Cabernet. Unfortunately, the 100% new French oak overwhelms on the palate for me preventing it from being outstanding. 14.1% ABV

A winner again. Cool climate syrah with high tones, acidity, and a weightless mouthfeel. Serious value. 14.5% ABV

The best KB I've had to date. Stylistically this is dialed back. Less extraction, less perceived alcohol. Energetic dark plum, black cherries with some herbs and smoke. Impressed. 14.6% ABV

Unlike anything I've had from Bordeaux. This is Burgundian Bordeaux. Light as a feather with deeply pitched fruit. Tannins are silky and only present themselves late on the finish. Really complex. Eye opener. Drinking great and have no idea how long this will go or how it would evolve. 12.5% ABV

Calling this flawed. Same experience as TCUFLETCH. Fruit is muddled, dank. Metallic taste. No obvious cork taint to me.

This rating has a star next to it because I really think this bottle was off in some way. It's just too far removed from the description I read from a trusted source. Tart and angular with an acidic edge overwhelming the fruit. 13.5% ABV

Fantastic bottle of zin. My favorite bottle to date actually, and it's a stylistic issue. The extraction is dialed back, the body is dialed back, yet it retains great purity of fruit, spice. Great balance without the overdone jammy flavors, weight, and perception of alcohol I have encountered in the majority of Turley zin based bottles (including recent vintages which have purportedly been dialed back). Juicy, and lively. 15.5% ABV

My last of six bottles. Unfortunately this dropped off a cliff. During the first few years it gradually got better and better. For me it was at its best at six years of age. It's matured and there is a shell remaining of what this was. What remains is showing overripe fruit and heat. It was a good run, but I'm glad I only left a bottle. 15% ABV

My second vintage. Love this quirky wine. Not your papa's Bordeaux. Horse barn on the nose and sort of tastes like the barrels were kept in there too. Quirky funkadelic sour cherry. Red fruit, zesty, snappy. Yes. 14% ABV

Update- May be Bretty. In a good way (too much for some), but definitely feels like it blooms.

This bottle is all about mouthfeel coupled with delicate complexity. Chiseled really. Earthy red fruit with slight herbal component. With aggressive aeration it blossoms. Fine tannins round out the long finish. 13.5% ABV

Really enjoyed this. 100% grenache. A seductress with velvety mouthfeel, red fruit and very strong minerality. Perfectly ripe fruit. There is a cool feeling with no heat (even thought it's 14%). This is incredibly well done, combined with the price point, make this a big time winner. 14% ABV

This would be tough to pick out in a southern Rhone tasting. Very well done- cherry and strawberry fruit. A bit of heat showing, but pretty minor.

Had to try one of these early on. Lorenzo's is in the hunt for my favorite Bedrock bottling year in year out. This is hugely aromatic, snappy, tart, fruity, spicy and altogether poised. Has the potential to be classic. 93+ 14.9% ABV

Lots of red fruit and acid. Noticeable amount of oak on the nose and palate (not used to that with Bedrock). Felt disjointed and in an awkward phase. Going with 90+ because there is a good chance it will come around and harmonize with time. Power without weight. Drink 2015+. 14.2% ABV

Soaring nose. Beautiful expression of Howell Mountain Cabernet. Delicious mix of red and black fruit with classic mountain spice. Nicely balanced. Stylistically reminds me very much of my beloved O'Shaughnessy. Drinking on the young side, but open for business with some aeration. For me, this will improve for another few years. 14.5% ABV
