Dominated by its fruit, resolved tannins, low acidity, decent enough, would not think this will get any better
Red
Excellent, classic Barolo, great right now
Red
Subtle nose, bright and fresh with good acidity, medium bodied, very good Bourgogne
Red
Bit monolithic, ripe, disappointing for a Bize, would like to the other 2012's
Red
Lovely nose, but tight as a drum, opened up with a little time, good potential, just needs a few more years
Red
2010 Castello dei Rampolla Chianti Classico Chianti Classico DOCG Sangiovese Blend, Sangiovese (view label images)
Agree with Nostrabacchus, an excellent, serious Chianti that will age for a few more years, but drinking really well now, worth the search
Red
More to this wine than your average Dolcetto, bit of structure and length to go with the sweet blue / red fruit and acidity, good value at $15 a bottle
Red
Consistent with previous note, good Barolo, do not see this wine gaining anything with more age, will drink my remaining bottles in the near term
White
Another good bottle, very pale yellow, classic Chablis nose, but rounder on the palate with an interesting, slightly sweet (nut?) note, good acidity, going to drink my other bottles in the short term
Red
2006 Castello di Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva Chianti Classico DOCG Sangiovese Blend, Sangiovese (view label images)
Drinking well, very good chianti
Red
2009 Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso Etna DOC Nerello Blend, Nerello Mascalese (view label images)
Needed about 30 minutes to open up, transparent ruby, lighter bodied, sweet fruit, acidity, not very complex, but still enjoyed it, drink up
White
Finally a bottle in good condition, rounder Chablis, drink up
Red
Opened, not decanted, and allowed to sit for 2 hours, throwing off some sediment, so decant the next bottle, darker red in the glass, lighter bodied brunello with good acidity, fruit and earth, good balance and long finish, drinking well, really enjoyable
Red
Decanted for approximately 3 hours, drinking very well now, tannins starting to integrate, expressive nose, bit of spice, earth and bit of darker fruit, structured, acidity, long, good with the rib roast
Red
Decanted for about 1 hour, very good Brunello, medium bodied with good balance, lovely darker red fruit and very fine tannins, great with the rib roast

Adequate, acidity, candied quality, do not think this one will gain anything with further aging

White
Needed about 20 minutes to open up, drinking very well now, bright classic Chablis
Red
Throwing off quite a bit of sediment, so definitely decant, dark red / purple in the glass, bright with darker red and blue fruit and terrific acidity, not a lot of tannins or structure, has some layers to it, very nice indeed

Opened and allowed to sit in the bottle for 5 hours, then decanted, funk blew off after about 30 minutes or so, tar on the nose, mature with smooth, integrated tannins, acidity and structure, the cherry fruit notes have taken a backseat, but the wine is still balanced, drinking great
Red
Darker ruby in the glass, a little fuller and richer than I expected with red fruit notes and good acidity, could maybe use a couple of more years, very different expression of nebbiolo that i still found quite enjoyable
White
Pale gold in the glass, reserved on the nose, lighter bodied, crisp acidity, stones, nice finish, super refreshing, lovely wine
Red
Tremendous value, fresh and lighter bodied and driven by its acidity with red pinot fruits, easy drinking, great with food, went down so easily, ideal choice for a house, every day wine
White
Gold in the glass, a bigger Riesling and very Chablis in character, bone dry with prominent citrus notes and crisp acidity, long finish, lovely wine
Red
Ruby red in the glass, nebbiolo nose with flowers, not quite as structured as a Barolo, drying tannins, lovely acidity, transparent and unadorned (in a good way), tar and red fruit, long finish, definitely a producer to try

Red
Dark red / purple in the glass, open nose, tannins are still prominent with rich flavors of dark cherries and tobacco and plenty of structure, throwing off a fair bit of sediment, quite drinkable now, but I would give this wine another 5 years to soften the hard edges and allow the very promising pieces to come together, definitely a buy for the cellar
White
Terrific wine and tremendous value, tropical fruits and citrus notes on the nose, good depth and crisp with mineral and white fruit on the palate, some more citrus and just a hint of sweetness on the long finish, one to look for . . .
Red
2008 Vini Biondi Etna Outis Nessuno Etna DOC Nerello Blend, Nerello Mascalese (view label images)
Really liked this wine, understated, balanced with cherries, earth and a bit of spice, depth, need to buy more
Red
Delicious, went well with the prime rib, I am not sure it will add more complexity with more age
White
One of the better bottles of Fevre Chablis I have had in recent memory, vibrant and pure, good cut with the classic seashell and citrus notes, good length, enjoyed quickly by all
Red
First opportunity to have a mature Faiveley, smooth and balanced with earth and red fruits, decent length, lovely
White - Off-dry
Very good, classic riesling, pretty and light on its feet, beautiful green apple and pear notes, nice acidity, enough structure and complexity to still age
White
Quite nice, lighter bodied with minerals and interesting seashell / saline notes, good acidity
Red
Lovely ruby in the glass, expressive nose, sweet than tart cherries, bright acidity, fine tannins, could use a few years, nice wine
Red
Bit closed, medium bodied pinot with red fruits and mineral notes, needs a few more years

3rd and final bottle from a great lunch at Maialino, opened, decanted and poured, darker red in the glass, still young with prominent, deep red fruits, good structure, tannins, still has a few edges, very drinkable now, but would clearly benefit from more time
Red
Purchased at Maialino, Francesco Rinaldi grapes, decanted a couple of hours prior to pouring, fully mature, still fresh with red fruit and earth notes, balanced, not super complex, but delicious, and the bottle was gone in a flash
White
Purchased at Maialino, medium bodied, good complexity, tropical fruit, touch of mineral, not overly oaked, the blend is very interesting and this is a very nice wine
Red
Good brunello, nice, sweet fruit, bit of tannins on the finish, not super complex, drink now
Red
Consistent notes with the previous bottle, just not my style of RM pinot
Red
Quite nice, darker in the glass, medium bodied with rich fruit, perhaps a touch of heat on the finish, needs a few more years
Red
Purchased at Boulevard, pretty village, floral notes on the nose, light to medium bodied, sweet red fruits, lovely mouthfeel
Red
4th wine on the night at Boulevard, just another great wine from a great producer, classic notes of roses and tar on the nose, sweet cherries, tannins are still present, but still very well balanced, super elegant, long finish, one to buy in bulk as it will only get better
Red
3rd of 4 very good wines purchased at Boulevard, obviously young, but no hard edges, smooth, so smooth that perhaps it lacked a bit of character and location
Red
2nd of 4 very good wines purchased at Boulevard, still very bright with good acidity, darker fruit, tobacco and earth, proof you can lay the right Chianti down for years
