Somewhat of a tannic beast. Enticing nose. Very dark color. Tobacco profile is prominent. Wonderful fruits begin to emerge after a couple hours of air.
This has the makeup to go the distance. Expect a softer more inviting wine with at least 3 more years in the bottle. This wine has the backbone to could go another 20 years.
Enjoyed with a porcini parmesan pappardelle.
