A recent release of a very limited vintage due to spring frost. The wine is classic Selleck with great fragrance from the bottle; dark fruits blended with earth on the palate.
Wonderful food wine.

Bold nose. Wonderful School House characteristics of dark cherries on the palate. Tart with a lingering finish. Tartness recedes as layers of flavor more evident the next day.

Will become a 92 with some time in the bottle. Amazingly consistent high quality product that delivers the best of nebbiolo. Still a little tight with some green wood lingering in the mid palate giving way to an uplifting long finish with plenty of fruit.

Orange tinge as it is poured into the decanter. Complex nose. Rich powerful mouth feel. Cherries, tobacco, mushroom. Soft finish but some pucker too.
Somewhat on the fat side. Seems it may not be at its peak. Hold for another year. Second day yielded more flavor and complexity.

Extremely happy with this wine. Inviting nose, lovely clear color and great round mouth feel. Put some weight on in the glass. Distinctive Brosseau terroir apparent in the restrained yet complex flavor profile. Look forward to allowing my remaining bottles take on some bottle age.

Reminiscent of a 1978 Corton Charlemagne we had at Bec Fin 30 years ago. At once new world and traditional old world with the yeasts, salinity and oak caressing the fruit. Layers of flavors unfolding thru to a long acidic rich finish. Satin. Dinner at home; seared Cape May scallops over forbidden rice and turmeric roasted tomatoes. Bravo.
