Dark red colour - quite dense. cassis, black fruits on nose. Lovely flavour - dark fruits, vanilla, leather and a little bit of aniseed. Very smooth mouthfeel with a long finish. This is drinking very well and is very enjoyable. Probably could go for another couple of years - wish I had more bottles.

Bright, clear, deep red colour. Red fruit nose along with a touch of oak spice. Rounded mouthfeel; raspberry, musk and a bit of spice. Still primary and fruit forward so probably wait a year or two before the next bottle.

Lemon zest on the nose along with a light touch of honeysuckle. Bright, zippy mouthfeel with flavours of lemon zest, almond and white peach. Good acid bite giving nice freshness. Enjoyable and a good match for fish.

Very pleasant claret that is drinking nicely. Nice red colour with slight brown on the edge. Cassis, blackcurrant and a touch of earthiness. Drinking nicely. Good match for roast beef.

Very quaffable claret. Medium body with flavours of cassis, dark fruits and a little mint. Enjoyable and drinking nicely.

Clear, bright red colour. Cherry and raspberry on the nose. Fairly light on the palette - a little short at the end. Flavours of cherry, creaming soda and a bit of raspberry. Not overly complex but enjoyable. Definitely opened and became more expressive after 30 minutes of air.

Dark and dense colour - slight browning on the edge. Dark fruits, liquorice and Chinese five spice on nose. Smooth mouthfeel. Aniseed, menthol, eucalyptus and dark fruit flavours. Long finish with slightly drying tannins. Possibly at a peak and a superb match for steak. Lovely.

Deep, clear red colour. Green pepper and blackcurrant on nose. Similar flavours - quite pronounced green pepper. Enjoyable but big and still quite young - probably need a couple more years to integrate.

Dark, clear colour. Cranberry and a touch of spice on nose but quite tight. Rounded mouthfeel, dark fruits and spice flavours. A little concentrated for my preference but enjoyable with meat.

Clear dark red colour. Tight nose - a bit of blackcurrant. Expressive flavours - quite a bit going on - blackcurrant, spice, thyme, rosemary. Still feels young. A good wine but still big so needs a bit of time to open.

Deep red colour with lightness towards the edge. Raspberry and a touch of vanilla on nose. Rounded mouthfeel - soft and smooth. Raspberry, vanilla and a touch of oak. Still between the primary and secondary stage. Very enjoyable with lots of life left.

Light straw colour. Light nose - a little bit of lemon zest. Lovely mouthfeel - rich and rounded. Lemon zest, pastry and rich flavours. Really enjoyable wine and good with food.

Decanted for sediment. Dark fruit, peppers, cinnamon and spice on nose. Flavours of dark fruits, green peppers and spice from the oak. Lovely smooth finish with medium length. Smoothed over 30 minutes. Very enjoyable.

Light gold star colour. Slight almond note on nose along with a touch of citrus. Smooth, rounded mouthfeel. Marzipan, light citrus flavours. Great match with grilled fish.

Clear, red / brown colour. Tar and a little aniseed on the nose. Lovely flavour. Earthy flavour with a bit of asphalt and dark fruit. A touch of raspberry on the end. Long, smooth finish. Drinking well.

Deep, dense red colour. Peppers and dark fruits on nose - quite tight. Green pepper, dark berries and a slight herbal taste almost mint like. Smooth and round, this is very enjoyable. Medium to long finish. I think another six months to a year and this will be in a prefect spot.

2019 Mas Querido White Field Blend Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León White Blend (view label images)
Light gold colour. Slight honey on nose with a zesty note. Rounded mouthfeel, slightly maderised with a honied note and a touch of acid freshness. Nice food wine.
Red
Decanted and breathed for 15 minutes. Medium clear red colour. Fresh on the nose with hints of strawberry - quite tight nose. Flavours of strawberry, cranberry and a touch of vanilla. Rounded out after 30 minutes. Soft and smooth - very enjoyable.
