Beautiful old school white Burgundy. Pale yellow in colour, a buttery, toasty nose and a rich taste with lemon, pastry and butter. Good length and a thoroughly enjoyable wine.
Red
Dark red, clear colour. Cedar, liquorice and blackberry on the nose. Smooth taste with rounded mouthfeel. Dark fruits in flavour with a little herbal note. Medium length finish. Drinking well.

Bright red colour. Cherry, strawberry and a bit of toast on nose. Bright fruit - cherry to the fore. Long finish with a slight musky sweetness. Very enjoyable.

Medium clear red colour. Plum, cherry and a touch of leather on nose. Lovely rounded mouthfeel - strawberry, a subtle hint of vanilla. Long finish with a touch of meatiness. Drinking well but will keep. Lovely.

Dark, inky red colour. Black fruits and green pepper on the nose. Similar taste along with slight raisin. Subdued taste - opened over time and smoothed out. Long finish. Might be in an awkward phase but underwhelmed by this bottle.

Deep, clear red colour. White pepper and red berry nose. Touch of vanilla and strawberry in the mouth with a little bit of liquorice. Long, smooth, enjoyable finish. Opened up over an hour. Drinking well.

Deep, solid red colour. Dark fruits, tar, liquorice and aniseed on nose. Similar flavours with solid tannins. Bold taste but well balanced. Long finish. Opened and smoothed over an hour. Very enjoyable.

Toast nose. Mid-red colour. Fruit nose with cranberry. Cranberry and dark fruit flavours. Needed an hour or so to open. Less advanced than the Geyersville at this stage.

Deer, clear red colour. Cranberry and cherry on nose. Similar taste along with spice, liquorice and a touch of vanilla / oak. Fresh with a long finish. Multi-layered and lovely - drinking beautifully. One of the most enjoyable wines had so far this year.

Pale straw colour. Zesty citrus flavour. Sight richness and juiciness. Good food wine. Enjoyable.

Dark, orange marmalade colour. Very attractive nose - marmalade, butter and a touch of spice. Thick, rich and lovely in the mouth. Flavours similar to the nose. Long finish. Gorgeous.

Barnyard and funky nose along with dark fruits. Tertiary flavours, savoury and long finish. Softened over 30 minutes. Towards the end of its life but enjoyable, mature wine.

Nice, easy drinking red. Dark cherry nose along with a bit of spice. Similar flavours with a bit of raspberry and aniseed. Good, easy going food wine.

Very dark, inky red - almost black. Beautiful nose - oak, red fruits, pencil and tar. Red berries, white pepper and graphite flavours with a slight oak touch. Rounded and lovely long finish. Very nice wine with a good amount of life left in it.

Deep golden colour. Maderised nose - quite savoury and sherry like. Rich, overripe apple flavours - definitely old and oxidised - sherry like taste. Not sure if this is too oxidised or just too old but definitely past its best unfortunately.

Lemon / like colour. Petrol, vinyl and lime on nose. Beautifully defined. Lime and slight petrol notes - still very fresh and vibrant. Good long finish. Excellent wine.

Enjoyable bottle. Taste of ripe apple, vanilla and a touch of spice from the oak. Rounded and nice food match.
