Wholeheartedly agree with Burgundy Al's comment below - this was simply gorgeous and amazing. Will only get better with time. I have a second bottle and won't open until at least end of 2020.

Ready to go, smooth as you'd expect, some tart cherry and red fruits. Hitting on all cylinders, well done.

I love Rivers-Marie Pinots (and am a big fan of TRB, as my cellar can attest to), but I really was not into this. Too much citrus for my taste and somewhat light bodied. I won't rate.

In line with most of the other reviewers, this really was in a great place. Tannins resolved, smooth as silk, hitting on all cylinders. My first Spottswoode and I'll be coming back for more!

Drank at Babbo. Very smooth, silky and elegant. Excellent QPR. Bought some bottles the next day for my cellar.

Pre-super bowl - very silky smooth classic from TRB. Gorgeous nose, red and black fruits, dense mouthfeel. Drinkable now - will get better with some age but wouldn't wait that long. Another tremendous effort from Thomas Rivers Brown.

Well, there's no way I can beat Eric Guido's note below, so I'll just say I wholeheartedly agree and I'm running out to buy another 6 bottles!

Fresh, fruity and salmon colored, just starting to hit its own now, but really has a long life ahead. I'd give it at least another 5, preferably 10, years before it puts it all together and then, WOW, this is going to be spectacular.

Nearly half way through my case and-a-half and this just keeps getting better and better. My go to day-drinker (mainly Coravin a glass several times a week). QPR is unbeatable. Love the other offerings, especially the Kanzler.

This is just outstanding for the price. I maxed out my allocation from the producer, and liked this so much that I promptly scored another half case at auction at only a modest mark-up. Not to be missed.

Agree with Mr. Murray's tasting notes - this has a little spicy kick that was a little surprising at first. I would hold for 2-3 years to let the flavors integrate a bit better. Great stuff; will be greater with some cellar time.

Just a taste for scientific purposes from my Coravin, but this is really fine and drinking wonderfully - red fruits and silky - will be absolutely killer with more time. I may have to find some more bottles of this since I only have the one and it's not going to last long because I won't be able to keep my hands off it!

Second of three bottles. First one opened about 2 years ago was singing - a beautiful wine! Unfortunately, this is now closed or closing down. I would wait at least another 5 years before giving this a shot.

This is way too young and tight; it's great now (and I'm not a big lover of Cristal) but give it at least another 5 years.

Just loving this! Nice white linen, crispness with a creamy mouthfeel. A bit of apple crisp, peach and lemon. Could be the best of the White Hills so far and I've had all the vintages.

Not one of the best vintages of D'Yquem, but still outstanding. Celebrating my 56th turn around the sun.

I have no idea why anyone would give this (or any other LF wines) anything below a 90, let alone the ridiculous scores I'm seeing below. This is an excellent white wine, which has been become my daily drinker (and their Rose is off the charts awesome too).

Vya is my go to vermouth for all mixed drinks. Both the dry and the sweet vermouth are outstanding and will greatly improve any cocktail that calls for vermouth, without being overpowering.

Wow - this is borderline undrinkable - sweet syrupy grape juice. Even for the low price I paid for it, it's just not worth. Considering dumping my last 2 bottles or giving away to parents, who like the sweet stuff. Calling this pinot noir is almost a travesty. My score is the lowest score I'll give a wine.

Special treat to myself after a grueling 6 month period at work. Don't even know what to say, besides that it was simply spectacular and, as one of the tasting notes below already says, the man knows how to make wine and has truly mastered the art.

Wow - silky, almost velvety, texture; lots of black fruit with a hint of smoke. Truly outstanding! One more bottle left and I will keep that in the cellar for a while, but fine to pop one since it's drinking splendidly right now.

Spectacular, truly spectacular!!! Had one for 2012 New Year Eve's, which was very good, but popped my only remaining bottle last night and it was perfection!! Really doesn't get much better than this!

Very fresh and crisp with citrus on the nose and citrus and minerality on the palate. Tried this as a science experiment/birthday present to myself, since I have another SWC 1999 birth year bottle ageing for my twins for when they turn 21. It is good now, but MUCH too young. The remaining bottle should really be outstanding when it gets opened in 2020!

Echoing the 2013 comments below, this is in it's drinking window right now and is simply stupendous. I have another bottle and will probably wait 6-12 months to pop it. It may have a little more evolution left, but certainly ready now. Great on its own, but even better with food.

Following up on my note below (90 pts), this is already drinking better than my first 2 bottles and filling out. I'm probably going to let these sleep, finish up most of my 2010 Golden Slope and the other LFs I have and then give this a try later in the year and keep a few bottles around to drink over the next few years. Should be well worth it.

This was a huge disappointment. I decanted the bottle for over two hours (with periodic tasting sips to see how it was coming along) and it just never opened up and was miserably thin, with a nasty heat on the back-end. I have 3 other bottles, so I will give them some time in the cellar before popping open another one. I've changed my initial rating to an NR.

Not sure what happened with this bottle. I had one over the summer that knocked my socks off, but this bottle had a noticeable (and somewhat unpleasant) heat/bitterness on the back-end. I bought from a highly reputable dealer, but I'm wondering if there was an issue with provenance. I won't rate this bottle and hope my other bottles make up for it.

Not usually a big fan of DP as it's usually too chalky tasting for my palate, but the 2002 is HUGE! Wonderful balance and crispness, the mouthfeel was exquisite! I'm thinking of buying a case to store.

My first taste of Copain Syrah and I was pleasantly surprised with the great balance and the not-too-overpowering touch of fruitiness. I went out and bought a half case just to have on hand for guests, and I'm sure it will be a real crowd-pleaser. Excellent QPR and in a great drinking window.

I received a couple of bottles as a gift and, having had the Flowers Chard before from prior vintages, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised at how full-bodied and creamy this was. Drank like a more expensive wine IMHO.

Initial impression is that it is not as full-bodied as the 2010, which is a disappointment. Seems a little thin and drinks more like the Vine Hill, which is cheaper. I will give it more time and am glad I have a few bottles of the 2010 Golden Slope to savor.
