Still massively tannic. Ox blood on the nose but not much else. Slightly bitter finish. Opened at 08:00 and tasted at 17:00 so plenty of time to breathe. Not worth the price. I'll let the remaining bottles sit for a few years.

Still the same after a night open.

Lots of sulfur when initially opened. Needs to breathe for a few hours before consumption

Good weeknight white. Citrus (grapefruit?) nose.

Decanted for 1 hour.
Big nose of vanilla and lead pencil (maybe a little band-aid).
Slightly bitter on the mid palette (but not undrinkable by any means).
Notes of chocolate on the finish
A great wine for a school night.

After 3 hours, the nose got REALLY smoky, and the chocolate was more pronounced. Just ordered a few more bottles

Not as good as the 2007 or 2008
Still tannic and unbalanced

Really nice aroma of pencil lead and a bit of vegetal. Strawberry notes on the palate and quite full bodied, but tannins could smooth a bit. I'll give it another year before trying again.

Chocolate and berries on the nose, soft tannins with similar berry notes on the palate. Slight bitterness on the finish.

WOW!!! What a difference! This is the third bottle I've opened, and it's completely different than the rest. Cherry, pencil lead, oxblood on the nose with a hint of eucalyptus, and some barnyard stink. Still a lot of sediment, but not too tannic. A nice dryness rather than the mouth puckering feeling of the other bottle. Still slightly bitter on the sides of the palate (much less than the second bottle), but more sweetness to balance it. Gentle berry flavors are muted by the tannins, but still quite tasty.

Smoky nose, and earthy mushroom and a bit musty, on the palate, but in a good way.

Strange sour marzipan nose with chocolate on the palate. Not at all my style

CRAP!!! This is the second bottle, and the first must have been a fluke. While the first was passable, this was flat and boring. A slightly vegetal nose and a long bitter tannic finish. I'm sorry I bought more than one bottle of this.

Huge amount of sediment. Nice flavor if you can filter it. Strawberry and candy. Better the second day

Nice oaky nose, but not over oaked. Finish of strawberry candy. A bit sweet, but nice overall.

Better than the last time, but still no 90. I can't pinpoint the aroma on the nose, but it isn't pleasant. Some strawberry on the palate. Still very tannic
UPDATE: I just tried it again after a few hours of air, and it was a bit better. Either way, it's too hard to like this wine.

I got an unmistakable aroma of Ivory bar soap on the second day that this bottle was open. Great stuff!

Nice complex nose with lots of tropical flavors, and a long finish. Good balance of acidity also.

Raspberry, vanilla, lots of butterscotchl and some vegetal notes. Good tannins, and a medium to long finish. The nose opened up to chocolate and cherry. I'm looking forward to comparing it to the 2004 Bodegas y Viñedos Maurodos Toro Prima. Decanted for three hours, but more would be better.

Cave like aroma and nice acidity. I got a bit of pickle juice on the nose, with some cherry and strawberry. The tannins could be a bit more smooth, but I think it'll age well.

This was great the last time I tasted it, but was a bit dumb this time. I'm going to give it a while before trying again.

This was a stunning bottle of wine. I let it breathe for 2 hours before drinking.
The nose started out with oak, vanilla and a hint of butterscotch. After a bit I got some vegetal and floral (lilac) aspects.
The flavor was great, with notes of chocolate and coffee. Silky smooth tannins, and a really long finish.

I've tasted two bottles, and can't figure out the 90 pt Parker rating. Maybe it's past it's prime. I got nothing on the nose, and the flavor was almost non-existant.

My bottle wasn't oaky at all. I don't know if this is due to bottle variation or something else. The flavor was very flat. A bit of Kool Aid on the nose, but not much else.

Massive oak, vanilla and butter aromas on the nose. Mostly oak though. Nice long finish. The tannins were still pretty pronounced. I'm going to try it again in a year or 18 months.

This is the 4th bottle I've had over 2 years. The first two were unremarkable, the third, bitter and undrinkable. Tonight's bottle was quite good. The nose was a blast of grape soda (my 4 year old smelled it and made the same comment unprompted). Flavor was mostly of berries but there was a hint of chocolate. The tannins were still a bit rough. I have a few more bottles, and I'll wait to decide if I want to buy more once I taste them.

Personally I really liked this wine, but it might not be to everyones taste. Cavelike (musty, but in a good way) aroma on the nose with a lot of clove. Opened up to a more vegetal aroma. The flavor was a bit reminiscent of Mexican cocoa (where they mix spices with the chocolate) and changed to more strawberry flavors as it opened up. I got a bit of pickle juice when I tasted it the next day.

A little closed at first but after a few hours of breathing opened up nicely. A savory aroma deep in the nose reminded us of beef blood. It took a while but it grew on me.
