Medium lemon-green color with youthful jura-esque nose of intense aromas of smoky woody oak, nut, lees, with oxidative character. Still the apple and stone-fruit character of chardonnay is there unhidden but it took 3 days to sort things out. The palate is dry with not too oily round mouthfeel with high citrus-like acidity. More balanced to the wine type with medium body medium alcohol high acidity structure than roundness and mouthfeel. However, it is powerful yet elegant. Leaves the mouth fresh and dry wanting for more. WOW from magnum. Close to perfection.

Deep garnet core and evolved medium light rim. Medium+ intense aromas of fresh black fruit, blueberry, evolved oak notes, vanilla, p shavings. Taste is dry, high of powdery tannins. Full bodied with medium acidity with integrated high alcohol. Pronounced intensity of evolved aromas but still the fruit is there. In very nice phase right now. Very drinkable with enough complexity as well as concentration to keep every consumer interested.

Color medium lemon-green with development. Nose restrained although has fruit of a warm year and volatility.
Drinking in awkward condition right now. Does it have what it takes to come back? Signs of winemaking. Batonnage for the depth and smoothness. Typical 1er Cru Chablis with it's chalky flavor profile, high acidity and modest oak. The extraction as well as alcohol are worrisome.

Medium+ intense nose of youthful aromas. Very massive red fruit, plum as well as coconut from American oak. Forward and open for seduction.
Dry full bodied stuff, yet the concentration of flavors and high extract make this feel sweet. High acidity and high level of grippy rough tannins bring balance to the overt fruitiness and high alcohol level.
Well made and balanced with no obvious faults, but maybe more rugged tannins than ripe suggest some difficulties with the phenolic ripeness. I really like how this is built on the concentration and intensity - yet not going overboard with the volatility. Made to be drunk young.
Textbook example of well made balanced fruit forward wine that can only come from California.

I'm surprised I liked it so much.

Deep ruby core with evolved garnet rims. Developing but not really singing aromas of ripe black fruit, plum, blueberry, chocolate, oak, spices and sous-bois with volatility. Medium high alcohol level with medium high amount of fine-grained silky tannins combined with medium acidity makes this wine well balanced. Ripe and plush juicy texture combined with the high fruit-intensity together with the above average length makes this very gulpable also some complexity but not too much which makes this a pretty boring yet well made. Well made and in no hurry to be drunk as it still quite tightly knit and more on the young side. Very good quality but it sadly left me uninspired.

Med intensive mature nose with fresh red fruit, strawberry notably, heavy toasted oak, woody and some dill but not vanillin,
The palate is dry with medium low acidity and medium level of tannins which are soft. This is a medium bodied wine yet with medium plus alcohol level with clear red fruit, strawberry notably together with spices from the oak and leathery. Think of shoes.
Overall, heavy dosed Rioja with a medium body. I don't see too much wrong in this. The balance is great with the oak and medium body and tannin level yet the fruit still is visible. Length is only medium and the intensity is average. So don't expect too much wows.

The nose is clean and of very high intensity of youthful aromas full of dark fruit mostly plum and cherries, spices and vanilla have melted a bit and it does scream new oak but not in a woody way. This was opened yesterday.
The palate is dry and has very high acidity with smooth light medium tannins, high alcohol that sticks out not too devastatingly , very modern.

Well there's some complexity, not a bad wine at all. To convert people to pinot.

The clean nose is med intensive and has maturing aromas of chocolate and blackberries and black fruit. The oak has integrated nicely.
The palate was dry with a bit soothed yet med acidity and high level of rounded yet dusty tannins while the alcohol was medium high level.
The quality was very good due to the balance between rounded tannins, acidity and the medium intensive fruit profile. The length was also medium and the intensity was decent enough. A lovely well aged aglianico which delivers what it promises. It is capable to shine. Some years to go but might be peaking up I believe.

Clean and intensive nose of citric fruits, some complex greenness and smokiness with lees aging notes but such an inviting and refreshing scent.
The palate has a bright laser like and mouth drying acidity which makes you start salivating. The flavors are competing with each other. On the back you have the complex citric flavors with supporting or trying at least is some oak and smokiness and autolytic notes, while the most dominating flavors are the rocky yet a bit chalky minerality which carries the wine to the other sphere!

Extraordinary because of the complexity and intensity of different yet harmonizing flavors, long length, yet the balance is built towards the tart yet refreshing acidity. This is a prime example why some want to do malo in champagne. I like this tremendously but not for everybody! This was the non dosé edition

The quality is outstanding because of the very good balance between the high refreshing acidity, unctuous sweetness and thin alcohol. The long length and the high intensity of the generous fruit which is incredibly pure and fresh as well as other aromas and flavors such as stones, fresh peach, citrus and blossoms also support this. What a wine to lift up whatever or whoever needs lifting! Truly wine of extraordinary to me. I think I need to stock up!

This wine is clear bright medium ruby core with only slightly paler ruby rind.
It has a clean and medium plus intensive nose of developed red fruit, red cherry, fresh plum, oak and solvents.
The palate is dry and medium minus acidity and medium plus alcohol level. The medium plus level of tannins are a bit woody or stalky. The wine is medium plus bodied with a medium plus intensity of maturity, oak and ripe red cherry with a medium plus length.

The quality is acceptable because of the medium- level of acidity and high level of alcohol together with the ripe fruit and maturity from oak do not bring the good balance it needs. The wine has some complexity but it is lost to the unbalance.

This wine is past its peak or faulty which the solvents and unbalance of the acidity and alcohol and ripe fruit suggest.

This wine is clear and bright pale lemon color with watery rinds. It also has some tartaric crystals on the bottom.
It has a clean and medium intensive nose of developed aromas of stone fruits mainly fresh apricot with oak and spice and butterscotch.
The palate is dry and has medium+ acidity and the same alcohol level. The wine is medium+ bodied with an medium intensity of fresh apricots, integrated oak, spices and smoke. The length is medium plus.

The quality is very good because of the good balance between the medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol level and use of already integrated oak with the fruit. Yet the wine feels fresh with some bodied but not oily. The fruit has also complexity but it isn't concentrated or complex enough to be an outstanding quality. Also the reasonable long length suggest it has quality attached to it.

Ready to drink but will no doubt improve for 5 years or more due to the medium plus acidity and vibrant fruit but the wine is made surprisingly mature which both the nose and the integration of oak suggest therefore to abandon the idea of extended aging capability.

A bit constraint nose of pear and stone fruit (apricot and peach mostly), maturing nose but still cool and ripe vibe at the same time with a pureness in the fruit and some citric aspect to cool it. Clearly a blend but it doesn't mean bad.
Full bodied and long length with lot's of sugar or simple syrup texture and med alcohol with med high acidity balancing the sweetness. The flavors follow the aromas with added botrytis and creme brûlée notes with that lime finish. Balance is almost there but not quite. Falled apart when had the second glass

Overall, quite an easy-going wine with lot's of fun. Not overly complex and more about enjoyment than contemplation. Excellent performance. Drinking this feels like the typical evening with a fortified liquid creme brûlée not forgetting the sugar glaze for dessert. Crack.

Dark color. Dark fruit with peppery and meaty notes. Juicy wine with pleasant tannins and medium acidity and medium alcohol level. A great length and the elegance is weird for an Australian irrigated wine. Wonderful now as it begs drinking but will give more refined and complex notes with some age. This will go to more violet than meaty direction. Therefore, I boldly assume this will go in the direction of the Haut-Brion '82 I had few months ago. Double decanted. Outstanding!

Intensive aromas of ripeness, nuts, flowers. The oak doesn't stick out a bit!
Palate has a high acidity but it complements rather than sticks out, lovely elegance yet ripe fruit and full bodied but not so much as say Krug is. The concentrated fruit profile is more lemon than apricot but not in a fruit-forward style, rather the elegance and intensity in the structure is what it's all about. Minerality the ripeness provide interesting play as well. Harmony with yin-yang. Long length with promising future.
Superb now but no doubt better in the future. Outstanding stuff!

Such a strong color. A reductive which clears a bit. Maybe too recent degorgement? Vinous style full of berries with a lovely sweetness in the fruit (not added in the dosage). Bright acidity with a medium length and medium light body which to me contradicts the full color. Youthful and pure wine but not made for keeping.
I liked this very much but this isn't a wine to contemplate with. Party wine, more about the imminent joy than complexity of hidden layers. Yet excellent.

Manure nose with pronounced intensity. Ripe hiding fruit aromas, spices and oak.
The palate is very high on acidity backed up with medium high level of dry woody tannins and pronounced level of alcohol. Concentrated wine but light footed in the same time as will, still distinctly pinot noir. The ripe but cool fruit is hiding behind the structure and spices and pureness (and vegetality). I don't get much out of this. Muted bottle. Double decanted but still needs time to reveal itself. Must try again for curiosity.

From my experience this (or what I assume this will be) is still very true to the Naudin-Ferrand style which I respect but find not my ideal type. Shame on me.

Clean and less volatile than expected. Aromas of dried fruits, saline and the nutty volatility with maturity!
Palate is medium bodied with a long length together with nutty after taste. Again the alcohol combats with the acidity which is I find weird for jerez. The origin of the flavors can be traced back to the dried fruit with a terrible complexity. Again, the final sensations of houjicha and salinity is what I like in this wine! Bargain or what? Outstanding but not typical with the acid level?

The light color is hazy and more brown but still visible tawniness.

The nose. This is why I love pinot noir. Clean pronounced and perfumed nose of coffee, licorice, flowers, strawberry, cherry, mushrooms.

The palate is light. Alcohol level is medium, acidity was medium high but is rounded up. Medium(low) level tannins are fine-grained and a bit drying up but velvety. Flavors are forest floor, autumn, cool berries that are a bit dried, mostly strawberry and lingonberry. The body is medium but the length is long. There's the chalkiness dominating. In fact one of the most chalked up wines ever.

This is starting to dry out a bit but offering now an immense pleasure. Outstanding but no doubt just a village or 1er cru level if it came from Bourgogne. Still very well made and aged wine. One to sip and drink while reading good magazine for the darkening Autumn. Even if this is chaptalized which I suspect, this is one of the better reds awhile!

The high level of oak nor the medium high alcohol does not stick out. A balanced wine that was much better at day 2. Very good but I don't find it to be worth the 20 euros for which commands here.

Autolytic flavors combined with the chalky minerality beautifully. This wine is not about the primary aromas like the Boulard I had. The palate is a heavy, full of everything but still the pureness sticks out. Too much sulfur present - too heavy dose of sulfur? Spritzy. I'd suggest more keeping and lot's of air. Otherwise excellent but weird stuff for Bourgogne. Oak is in check, tannins are there but subtle. A wine with a long maceration and much batonnaged? More modern structure but with the cool pure vibe. Overall, I was very happy to be able to taste this entry level wine.

Palate was out of balance. The alcohol divided the sip into 2 different sips! Acidity had lost it's zip, the tannins were beginning to deteriorate from smooth velvety texture to ethereal. There was the fruit still. Not a disaster but should had been better at this age! Why this went so fast down the hill? All in all it was "bargain" to be found from Alko.

Palate has a soaring acidity backed up with some alcohol and pretty high tannin level also(first they seemed silky now drying a bit). The taste is medium high bodied, and more about the structure and lingonberries with oaky spiciness than fruitiness. A long length and a bit extracted. A pure mineral touch noticeable. Medium high intensity of lingonberry type of red fruit and calluna type of woody/green/bitter aromas. Intriguing in it's simplicity. The wine has a high acidity and cool climate flavor profile with medium level of woody tannins as well. Good sip. And lasted very well 3 days the smell of barnyard declined in the 3 days. Taste is off dry with laser like acidity, full bodied and pretty heavy wine in structure but the flavor profile freshens this quite a bit! First the limestoney minerality, wow! But luckily there's the fruit too which is somewhat like lime & flowers combined with peaches and apricots. It's ripe but the minerality and laser-like zap! acidity makes you feel cooler! Quite Mosel-like flavors here too! Outstanding stuff but I'd recommend sticking on to the bottles for a year or five. Left rest of the bottle to open up for day 2 and 3.

Cloudy/hazy golden color of high intense.
Clean, green leafy aromas, very youthful nose that is medium intense. Fruit is woven with peashoot, peach and apricot.
Full bodied, mineral, long length, high acidity, lovely balance between the raw high acidity and off-dryness. Not the mention the everlasting battle between ripeness and greenness this wine has on every level. Alcohol is medium high, batonnage?, broad mouthfeel with deep length.

Opaque purple color. Very fruity nose: full of red cherry, plum, blueberry with oak. Youthful aromas but so lovely and ready to drink. The palate is unctuous thick juice.
