Faded, plum color. Cranberry like a motherf**ker on the nose. Blackberries in there too. Medium-light body with great up-front acidity.Pretty well balanced. Pretty in general. Just a touch of tannin on the back-end. Very easy drinking. My only critique is the palate drops out a bit rather than sustains. I like this wine.

Very light on color. Tropical fruit notes here--melon and papaya. A touch of wet stone. Some green herbs coming through as well. Big, weighty body. Was expecting much more acid. Limp on the palate, the acid comes in low and late. This wine definitely flexes its fruit, but misses the mark on acdity.

nice, clean golden color. Very fruity nose. A little quiet on the palate. Lots of white flowers and lemon. Nice, lively acidity. This tastes a little down-scaled. Straight medium bodied. Don't feel the oak so much. Could be a super light California chardonnay. Light and fresh all around. This is a summer white Burgundy.

Mostly merlot. Something like 62% with 19% Cab, 18% Cab Franc. Impressive wine. Kind of a new world take on St. Emillion. Big tannin and big power, but juicy and delicious right off the bat. A bit hot, but man, is this wine bangin'.

Smells real dope. Has that cranberry, tangerine fruit thing going on. Light bodied. Lots of oak. All around solid wine. But at $90? Meh.

Wow. Lots of bright notes here. Reminds me of Paso Robles. A little bit of that cough-syrup thing going on (not necessarily a pejorative). Good finish. Very red fruit heavy, power driven wine.

Really weird nose. Great acidity. Very... grapey? Is that admissible in a tasting note? Top mouth tannins. This feels like it will hold up a while. Great finish.

Big, big tannin structure. A bit of oak influence, but not overstepped at all. A touch of green pepper. This may need a bit of time to even out.

Big, fruity nose with little flashes of stewed tomatoes. A bit bigger and fruitier than the A2 of the same year. A little bit more of an herbal quality.

Earth and cranberry for days. A touch reductive. Medium-light bodied. Has a darker, sweet fruit note. The freshness is definitely here. A little wacky and disjoined on the finish.

Smoky and earth nose. Has a big girth, but still pretty. Some big oak notes lurking in there as well. A big fruit pinot trying to be from Oregon. Has gentle, non-obtrusive tannin.

A bit of petrol right of the bat. Some wet stone stuff going on here as well. Lots of weight and texture. As is usual with the producer, there is a nice balance of acid and texture. Some mandarin oranges. Nice and dry. Really well-rounded finish.

A touch tropical fruits on the nose with just a hint of funk. Lime all over the place. Very pretty. It has a good combo of great weight and penetrating acidity. Lots of green apples. A nice touch of sweet fruit near the end. Really great transition onto the finish. Not a typical New Zealand Sauvignon blanc.

Really floral with tons of white flowers. Crisp acidity lays low, then kicks in to full gear to close out the finish. Coconut and tropical fruits. Light and refreshing. There is not one thing to complain about. Delicious

Rich and fragrant nose. Blackberries. Ripe red Fruits. Smoky and herbal. A singular cherry note. Bacon fat. raucous acidity. Tightly focused fruit. Nicely structured. Young to be sure, but still accessible. A well-built powerhouse of a wine. Cedar and black pepper notes. Medium weight. Finish resonates back and forth across the palate.

Blackberry, savory notes. Big smack of vanilla. Clove and saw dust. Nutmeg is floating around in there too. Sweet with a touch of oxidative character. Really pounds you over the head with Oak. That's the really star of the show here, the wine is just around because it has to be. The acid is lively and spot on. Tannins feel drippy. Rich and ripe. And Oak. Did I mention Oak. There's Oak.

Ripe fruit bursts out of the glass on this one. Lighter red fruits like strawberries abound. There's a nice spice box note. Lots of lively acidity and great weight on the palate. Tannins are still rocking, but have a dent in them from the age. Just a lick of well-integrated brett. Super traditional. I loved this wine the first time I had it. I still love it.

Blackberries and meat. Really dark nose. Lots of oak here. Really tastes like adjuncts were used. Tannins are linear. Not overdone in that department. Again, lots of savory. I'm a little so-so on this. Some dry herbs are there as well. Light bodied and acidic for the style. Think Bedrock vineyards does Spanish Monastrell.

100% Verdejo. Very strong green characteristic coming through. Floral notes. Stone fruits and apricot on the palate. Maybe the fruit is a little overdone here. Acid is quite what I wish it would be. Hits everywhere but the tip of the tongue. A sister wine to California Sauvignon Blanc.

Dark core of fruit on the nose. Spicy and beautifully aromatic. Great acidity that bounces around the palate. Excellent structure, not-out-of-control tannin. Meaty and peppery. Fantastic back-end that grows and develops on the finish. Some of that wet stone on the nose. Not super oakey.

Quiet nose. Lets that wet stone stand out more prominently. Very elegant aromas. Less oak used on this vintage. There is a red fruit tone coming through strongly on the nose. More of that black pepper spice. Very firm tannin. More restrained acidity. Nice thump of tannin on the back-end then a slow finish--almost like its relaxing a muscle. A touch of green, but not obnoxiously so.

Comes from the wrong side of the river, but still well with in Wachau. All biodynamic. Lots of funk and petrol on the nose. Chili pepper. Tomato. Tons of savory notes. Meaty? Almonds? This wine is perfect for Mexican food. Almost a hot sauce/carnitas component here. This is really distinct, totally original wine.
