Opened this about 6 years too late. I thought it would be undrinkable, but it turned out to be OK. I probably won't finish the bottle, but it qualifies as wine and will do for tonight. I'm not going to bother scoring it. What's point? It's table wine.

Probably should have been drank a few years ago.

Lovely wine. I enjoyed it over 4 days. It was excellent the first and 2nd evenings. In decline on the 3rd. I'll be interested to see how it ages.

Strong smell of urine.

Solid wine. Deep purple color. Some plume on the palate. Improved with some air. May age well, but I'm not likely to buy more and find out. I don't think it will have enough complexity to make it worthwhile. Certainly a good boutique wine buy.

Very nice but not exceptional. Distinct aroma and flavor of candied cherry. Far from subtle but not overpowering. Ready to drink upon opening. Held up well over two days.

Wonderful wine. Paired excellently with Humboldt Fog. Dark fruit aromas and flavors. Nice dry finish with some cedar. I'm a fan.

This went very well with lamb chops. I had tasted this wine several years ago and it has mellowed significantly and drank very well.

This is the first time I've had a negroamaro. Interesting. Fruity and spicy. I'm not sure I'm happy with the price at $13, but I will definitely buy more of the varietal.

I enjoyed a glass of this at a restaurant. Loved it, should add it to my cellar.

This wine was great. Young for sure, I hope to buy more for the future. I taste earth, mineral, iron, and some dark cherry. We enjoyed it with a ribeye, asparagus, and potatoes. Excellent.

I enjoyed this wine with crab cakes. I got strong minerality as Nittanyjack stated. Otherwise just a bit grassy and pear. I will probably move on to another Sancerre.

I'm convinced. This wine is over the hill and starting to lose its luster. It still tastes good and will enjoy my last bottle, but I recommend drinking what you have now.

This wine is over the hill. However, I enjoyed it with a grilled peach dessert.

I'm loving Ch-du-Pape more and more every time I have one. I definitely get dark cherry flavor and some wet-earthy note on the finish I presume it is what everyone is calling guarigue. That finish had gone away by the time I finished the bottle off 5 days later.

As always, I feel this wine makes for good daily swill, but lacks any interest. Oaky.

I get bananas and tropical fruit on the nose. Maybe pineapple. A bit of pear on the palate. I enjoy this wine greatly. Had it with tilapia with a breading that had some pepper. Went well with the wine. Serviceable wine at a fair price.

Intense. Probably great in another vintage.

Seems like it needs more time.

Very intense for a merlot.

Excellent. Need to taste again when I do not taste 140 wines.
White
Very odd. I did not care for it at all.

I generally despise all things yellow tail (esp. the shiraz). However, this was pretty good for $7.

I'm not getting much out of this wine. I definitely get dust, maybe dry spice on the nose. The nose is not bad. Maybe this means something for the future. However, on the palate, it lacks anything worth mentioning. I'll probably not bother getting any more for my cellar, other than a token 1 or 2 bottles for fun.

My first Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Very nice. I loved it and will mostly likely buy more if I can get it in the $30 range.

It is possible the bottle was flawed. I have loved this wine in the past. Another possibility is that it is on its way down and this was my first notice of it. In any case, I have two more bottles. I was hoping to hold one for a while, but will probably not.

Fact: Is was a bordeaux. Fact: it was the worst bordeaux I've ever had. Possibility: defective.
