This wine showed extremely precise, everything in the right place. The citrus backbone, the white flowers, the modest apricot/stony/almond combination and that all in a long and very refreshing aftertaste. I had the feeling this wine still had some reserve, as there was no abundancy in its presentation.

Dinner at 312 Fish Market (Chicago, IL): French bottle, but capsule top. One of the best showings of this that I've had. Clean, bright, full, with plenty of Chablis salinity. Savoury with just the right squeeze of citrus here. Electric and exciting to drink. It's really hard for me to grok Dauvissat because some bottles can be so good, but some bottles can be so mediocre.

PnP, firing on all cylinders right at opening, medium bodied, intense acidity, incredible tension, slight bitterness, lime zest, herbs, seashells and wax on the palate, this very much an "in your face" chablis, and does not leave you indifferent. Perhaps missing a touch of concentration, but loved it.

Modne gule epler, sjøbris, sitrongress og svalberg - det er nesten som å bite over en østers i munnen. Vinen har en stor konsentrasjon, presisjon og en kjøttfull Amalfi-sitron smak, med en tydelig lang ettersmak. Den er flere hakk over Vaillon 2014 når det gjelder kompleksitet og størrelse, og den har en imponerende dybde. Toner av verbena bidrar til mer kompleksitet og finesse

Tasted over 3 hrs -translucent light-med gold -matchstick funk partially blows off, sea breeze -med+ acidity leads to intensely sappy mineral reduction buffered by a rather generous mid-palate -very good though at this point not much better than the village Chablis, maybe it will open up and unleash some complexity in the next few years
