Dark garnet. Wonderful nose of ripe red fruit with toasty oak, spices, some dried meat. Feels really young, more like the many 2015 I tasted en primeur. Velvety mouth feel, no heat on the finish, fresh. Given how young this feels, I would not open this before 2025 because you are wasting your money otherwise. Mature Arnoux-Lachaux wines have fantastic tertiary aroma complexity.

Intense and complex aromas of freshly grated ginger, pure red berry and cherry fruits, stones, and Asian spice. It has flesh and fabulous clarity and detail. It is silky, ethereal, voluminous and oh so long. A brilliant wine.

Terroir-istes International - France, Burgundy, Vosne-Romanee (Overgaauw Wine Estate): (Tasted Blind): A deep- garnet colour. A vibrant, stimulating bouquet that starts a little medicinal before evolving to menthol, liquorice, dark chocolate, black plum and black raspberry. Some dried wild flowers and spicy oak notes emerge later. A silky, almost succulent palate entry with appealing sweet fruits, a note of fleshy black plum, spice, chocolate and more of a mineral quality. This latter component works nicely as the mid-palate provides more of a sinewy texture with black plum fruits and sturdier tannins to give support. As it opened, I found it became a lot richer, highlighting some toasty components, but I still found it enjoyable.

Acker's Post-COVID BYO, Dinner and Auction Simulcast (Craft - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Very ripe and rich with both sweet and savory spice that simply screams "Vosne." Good+ density, more tasty/ yummy vs elegant.
