Duration: 3 hours Food: French Condition: perfect Aroma: pear, caramel, raisins, yeast, white flowers Notes: typical bahavior from this hot vintage, the alcoholic content is slightly higher in this vintage at 13.8%. Although definitely not the most attractive vintage but this BBM does offer a decent palate for a difficult vintage. The color however is lighter than I thought. I personally think the package is okay but the aftertaste hasn't been very long. Nevertheless the wine has evolved nicely during the 3 hours. Drink now-2020.

Wine cork was soaked... Wine was corked!!! Damn. Soaked wine in plastic wrap to remove TCA odor for fifteen minutes, which removed most of cork scent. Light colors of golden straw, aromas of peach, apple, citrus, and a slight minerality. Great weight , velvet mouth feel, ripe tannins, and low acidity. medium length on the finish. 78 points before plastic 84 points after cellophane.

Masterclass with Anne Claude Leflaive (Caledonian Club, London, England): Corney Leflaive Masterclass- yellow color, sweet candy nose, in the mouth it also had a white fruit sweetness to it, delicate and light, med acidity and medium length but a bit clipped at the end
