Lovely and quite open nose of butter, toast, lemon and honey. Medium weight with some fatness feom the vintage. Lots of fruit. Not as much acidity as 2011, but more open and friendly. Some butter on the midpalate. Long finish carried by the sheer depth of fruit.

Maybe, it is opened too early, and is not up to the level as expected in aspects like wine body, aroma, and complexity.

Thin and relatively unexpressive for what this wine should be. Underperformed the '12 on this evening.

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion - New York NY): The nose on this is closed, but the palate is superb - very lemony and focused. Good acid and minerality. Really laser-like. Nose - ?/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17/20.
