With age, this does show traces of bordeaux character with more modernistic left bank medoc character. Rough with firm structure, considerably balanced. Brambly and spicy.

Was looking for something simple to sip on late-night and this did the trick. My only concern is tannin structure seems to still overpower this wine. After reviewing my own notes from a few months back, the same issues remain. I'm not sure that the fruit will ever hold up.

What is the most disgusting thing you have found in your wine? Tonight...we found a Silverfish in our bottle (actually, in my girlfriend's glass). Nice, very nice. Thank you Counterpoint...may the Health Department close you down.

Spicy, jammy black plums, gripping tannins, and soft acidity on this one. Very light amount of oak, which was nice, and it was all about the fruit. The tannins were big, but unobtrusive and added to the texture and body. Somewhat simple, yet great extraction, huge fruits, and nothing offensive. I would recommend.

Showing alot of American oak dill notes in the nose. Smooth easy palate, some blackberry and green pepper. Eh.
